This unique, functional residence is designed with nature, community, and comfort in mind, offering a perfect balance of private oasis and welcoming gathering space.
Outdoor Paradise
The front yard is an enchanting woodland garden. Lush beds overflow with native, water-wise plants, and a mix of nut trees, berry bushes, and fruit-bearing plants. Complete with drip irrigation, the landscaping is designed for low maintenance and sustainable living.
Step into the completely fenced and private backyard, where a charming grape arbor drapes over the deck, inviting you to relax in the morning sun or savor long summer evenings. The patio offers ample room for shooting hoops, sharing stories around the fire pit, or hosting lively gatherings. For gardening enthusiasts, the raised bed garden—with its fertile soil and drip system—is ready for everything from heirloom tomatoes to fresh herbs. Meanwhile, other beds burst with flowers, fruits, and berries, creating a private garden sanctuary. Kids will love the built-in swingset and slide, and furry friends have a dedicated area of their own within the secure yard.
Gourmet Kitchen & Modern Comforts
After gathering fresh ingredients from your garden, step into a kitchen designed for both style and functionality. With granite countertops and an installed reverse osmosis filter for the purest water, this kitchen elevates every meal from prep to plate. The home’s high-efficiency HVAC system, complete with UV and HEPA filtration units and whole-home humidification, promises comfort and fresh air year-round even during the winter inversions or when spring pollen fills the air outside.
Entertainment & Fitness
Entertain with ease in the spacious great room that seamlessly opens onto the back deck, inviting indoor-outdoor living at its finest. When the party winds down, head downstairs to a unique basement, transformed into a versatile fitness and entertainment zone. It features a gym and dance studio with large mirrors, dance flooring, and a built-in rock climbing wall. Need a creative space? The basement includes an office or craft room, ideal for productivity or personal projects, as well as a guest bedroom and bathroom for hosting family and friends in comfort and style.
A Place to Rest & Recharge
Head upstairs, where the modern primary suite provides a true retreat, complete with a walk-in closet and a newly remodeled bathroom that exudes elegance and tranquility. Down the hall, two additional bedrooms feature a playful twist—a secret passage connecting the rooms, and a hidden storage closet, adding a bit of magic (or storage) to everyday living. For a perfect night’s sleep, all bedrooms are fitted with top-of-the-line Hunter Douglas blackout shades, creating the ideal sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation. The rest of the windows also have energy efficient Hunter Douglas shades to keep the home at the perfect temperature all year.
Storage & Functional Living
Smart design and abundant storage make it easy to keep your home organized and clutter-free. The large detached shed, complete with a workbench, offers space for tools and projects, while the extra-tall and extra deep 2-car garage, lined with built-in storage, ensures you’ll have room for everything—from sports equipment to seasonal décor, and yes, even your cars.

What We Love About This House
Since moving here in 2011, our family has been embraced by a truly wonderful community. From the first day, our neighbors have been thoughtful, kind, and welcoming—helping us unload boxes and settle in. Over the years, we’ve formed friendships that we’ll cherish for life. The neighborhood itself is perhaps the greatest asset of this home; it’s a place where people look out for each other and make life richer.
When we’re away, there’s never a worry—neighbors have happily stepped in to water plants, feed the fish, and collect packages. It’s a rare thing to find such a connected, supportive community.
The layout of the house has also been a perfect balance for us. We’ve loved the clever design—plenty of storage and functional space in every corner. It feels like a home that works with you, rather than demanding endless upkeep.
One of our favorite features—and one that drew us here initially—is the expansive yard. With the house’s smaller footprint, we enjoy an oversized outdoor area that’s brimming with life. Our kids enjoyed building forts, creating fairy gardens, and playing among berry bushes and fruit trees. The mature plants are hardy and water-efficient, providing beauty and shade without high maintenance. Blooms appear from early spring through late fall, filling the yard with color, fragrance, and seasonal charm.
In the backyard, we’ve created our own oasis. It’s a place for relaxing, playing, and making memories. When the kids were little, we could secure the yard, giving them a safe, private space to explore. Hours have been spent swinging, picking strawberries and raspberries, and simply enjoying the outdoors. The back deck, too, has been a favorite retreat. Morning sun warms it in the cooler months, while in summer, grapevines create a natural canopy that feels like dining in Italy or Spain when we eat al fresco with friends and family.
The basement has evolved alongside our family’s interests. What started as a cozy family room transformed into a gym, dance studio, and rock climbing wall, where everyone had something to do and a place to be active. It’s been a fantastic hangout spot, especially as the kids grew older.
Perhaps most importantly, this home’s location has been the heart of our adventures. Walking to school, grocery stores, and parks has been easy, and our favorite spot, Granite Park, quickly became a regular escape. The nearby Dimple Dell gully has provided endless activities, including hiking, biking, exploring, and even skiing. The trailhead is so close, you can walk right into nature in less than a minute. We’re also only minutes from Little Cottonwood Canyon, Bells Canyon, and other scenic trails, perfect for skiing, climbing, hiking, biking, and connecting with nature.
This home has given us so much, and saying goodbye isn’t easy. As we move on, we’re searching for many of the same features we’ve come to love here. We know that the right family will fall in love with this house, and we hope they’ll find the same joy and sense of belonging that we did.
